It’s my first winter in New Mexico – clear cold days, sparkly white frosting on the mountains backdropped by turquoise skies. It’s beautiful and inspiring. But here in the foothills icy switchback curves have made for some white-knuckled drives home. More than once I’ve feared I wouldn’t have enough traction to scale the next hill.

Traction is a heck of a metaphor for visionbuilders, don’t you think? No matter how strong our desire or how much we know, getting traction on our dreams can be tough! More than once I’ve skidded into failure because I couldn’t get the traction to succeed. I bet you have too.

I teach Visionbuilders a set of both contemplative and action skills because you need both sides of your brain on the job. You need contemplative skills for vision discovery, strategy, standards and plans. But you can’t stop there; you need action skills to make your vision real. Just like gaining traction on icy roads is an action skill, gaining traction for your vision takes action skills too.

In this Visionbuilders’ Coffee Break Class you’ll learn 3 simple and proven action skills for the traction your vision needs! I’ll tell you briefly how and why they work, then teach you how to use them.
